Avalanche Studios released a new gameplay trailer today, but actually how much gameplay does it show?

Mad Max is set for release in 2014 alongside a Mad Max: Fury Road movie. The movie is set to feature Tom Hardy as Mad Max. Tom Hardy is well known for his role Bane in The Dark Knight Rises. Mad Max the game is set in a Australia, in a world of drained resources and chaos. Max's goal is to retrieve his interceptor that was stolen from him by a gang of marauders. It is being developed by Avalanche, the company behind Just Cause 2.

The gameplay trailer shows gameplay of driving and unarmed combat. The driving in the game looks nice, but the best part of the trailer is the gameplay of Max beating up the marauders. The technique is like a take down and this could be a big part of the combat in the game. The trailer also features a large marauder who I assume will be a boss in Mad Max. All in all it seems similar to the game Rage. I personally loved Rage and am very excited for this one. Mad Max, the chaotic open world game will be on Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One, PS4, and PC next year.
