Super Indie Connection Sale is the perfect time to get in on all that Indie action!

The eShop has games on sale practically every week it updates. However, this week is a little different in that the eShop is going to have a special group of “Indie” games on sale together and part of the Super Indie Connection Sale. In an effort to get people to play more Indie games, or at least get the Wii U eShop game sales up, 5 games will be part of the sale.

Like I just mentioned, 5 Indie games will be part of the Super Indie Connection that will last until February 13th, just in time for Valentine’s day so all you video game couples know what to get the other. The sale is simple, Own/Buy at full price one of the five games and you get 60% off all the other games. The five games that are part of the Super Indie Connection are: Toki Tori 2+, Spin the Bottle: Bumpie’s Party, BIT.TRIP Presents… Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, and Mighty Switch Force! Hyper Drive Edition.

“Independent developers are responsible for some of the most creative and unique content in the Nintendo eShop on Wii U,” said Steve Singer, Nintendo of America’s vice president of Licensing.

“We noticed there were a lot of high-quality games by independent game developers in the Nintendo eShop,” said Collin Van Ginkel, co-founder of Two Tribes Publishing. “This type of special promotion helps us introduce games of other developers to our fans who may not otherwise discover all the great games available on Wii U.”
