Newest installment of the Layton saga sends players to mysterious locales.

Players that aren’t familiar with the Professor Layton formula will learn quickly that puzzles will be tough to solve and can come out of pretty much anywhere. The newest adventure will send the Layton gang all over the globe, solving all sorts of puzzles along the way. The Azran legacy will be front and center in this adventure and the puzzles have more to do with the location of where they’re found. You’ll be able to have spot-pass puzzles delivered to your 3DS everyday for a year so players will have that to look forward to.

“Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy is a must-have for longtime fans of the series who are excited to complete this latest trilogy of games. It is also a great starting point for first-time gamers looking to challenge themselves to the game’s wide variety of puzzles,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “The game is one of the many full, robust experiences that can only be found on the Nintendo 3DS family of systems.”
