NES Open and Block Drop U highlight the downloads this week.
Another week is slowly coming to a close and just like last week and the week before that, the Nintendo eShop updated itself. It looks like another slow week but what might not look spectacular to one person might be just what the doctor ordered for someone else. Let’s get right into it!
NES Open Tournament Golf, which was one of the 3DS Nintendo Ambassador games, was added to the Wii U Virtual Console this week. Join the likes of Mario and company as they play one of their favorite hobbies, golf. Play different courses in the United States, the UK, and Japan. You’ll have to keep an eye on all sorts of different elements like the wind that can screw up your score. The game plays like a real game of golf so if you want to see Mario’s early sports career, give this one a look.
Block Drop U also drops onto the Wii U this week. The game is a simple puzzle game where you guide the red block to safety. That’s where the simplicity ends and you need to use all your mind power to figure out how the safely guide the block. There will be different obstacles in the way as well as different objects to help get the red block to safety. Bit Trip Runner 2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien’s one year anniversary is this week so from March 10th to the 17th, you’ll be able to get the game for 5 bucks.
