Get the team together!

Retirement has not been kind to the Knight, Mage, and Warrior but that doesn’t mean they haven’t tried to stay ready for the call from the King. That call finally came when the King needed someone to bring his twin princesses to the Princess Academy. This is just what someone not being able to deal with retirement needs. Lets get right into it.

You get the basic tutorial before you start playing and you will need this basic tutorial. The controls are very confusion at times. The attack scenes are always in motion and the only way to stop them is to pause the attack/game and get your thoughts together.

That way you can strategize what powers you want to use and on what enemy. You can also use spells on your own team but it depends on what the spell actually does to get the full effect of the spell. The fighting is done on what I can describe as a rail system where both the playable characters and the enemies are movies. Like I mentioned the only way to stop the action is to pause with the shoulder button. You will need to think on your toes to decide where and when to move your team of fighters.

There are times where the team can’t attack since they’re restoring stamina or attack and that’s when you need to be strategic and think on your feet. There are many special attacks that do all kinds of things such as setting enemies on fire or setting up twisters to attack. It will be up to the player on how to set up these power-ups and when to switch the team up. It was hard to tell when you should pause and when you should switch up the team.

The demo level was really long and it looked like the map had a lot of stages just like the demo level so it’s going to be pretty long game. You can choose your way on the map but it’s still going to be a long adventure, bringing these princesses to school.

You are able to combine your spells to help attack large groups of monsters so you can use your fire attack and then use your lightning attack. This makes attacking easier but like I said, you will need to recover attack power. There are tons of spells to find in the game so have at it.

The action is quick and doesn’t stop coming at you during the match/battle. Players will have to use all their skills including spells and character switches to get the upper hand in battle and get the King’s daughters, the Princesses, the school!
