Make Your Opponents Eat The Ice
Red Bull Crashed Ice is a downloadable title available in the Xbox Live Arcade that brings extreme speed skating to the Kinect. The game requires the Kinect sensor and transports you, in your avatar form, into a crazy downhill ski race for points, stars, and bragging rights. The presentation of the game is what you would expect from a downloadable Kinect title. The graphics are somewhat similar to Kinect Adventures, which isn’t saying much. The game makes use of your Xbox Live Avatar which becomes a playable character. The audience members watching the competition are also Xbox Live Avatars, which brings the presentation together. While not eye popping, the X-Games style arenas that you will partake in are serviceable for the game. There are five courses in the game, from Quebec to Munich. Each course has a different track and a different setting. While the settings are similar, there is enough variance in the tracks to create different and unique experiences in gameplay.
