Catrina Dennis talks to Jason McDonald Lead Combat Designer of God of War Ascension about the mechanics behind the combat system in the game. Ascension takes place after Kratos murders his family and focuses on Kratos his path to darkness and the rage and despair of him loosing his family. Gamers will find diffferent ways to expunge their foes, using enemies against each other, using weapons from other enemies and a new rage system that allows Kratos to unleash his fury on any one in his path. Jason also shares some new aspects in Ascension like God allegiances and different weapons and allegiances.
