San Francisco's biggest gaming and music fest ival is raising money for children's hospitals. Is there a better reason to rock on?

Umloud, the largest non-profit gaming fundraiser for Child’s Play, will have multiple sponsors this year. The venue for the event is the DNA Lounge on December 6 in San Francisco. The point of the event is to try and unite gamers for a great cause. That cause is to raise money through Child's Play for children's hospitals around the world. It's a great cause that everyone can get behind. Unknown Worlds and Perfect World Entertainment will have the task of getting everyone together for this event, as they are the co-sponsors.

Unknown Worlds, known for the Steam release Natural Selection 2, is extremely excited to be at Umloud and feel it's a great cause. “It’s been such a phenomenal year for all of us at Unknown Worlds,” said Charlie Cleveland, Co-Founder and CEO of Unknown Worlds Entertainment. “We are immensely proud that our hard work and success with Natural Selection 2 has allowed us the opportunity to give back to the gaming community by supporting the amazing work done by Ümloud!. We can’t wait to celebrate 2012 with everyone on December 6, with a great night for a great cause.”

Joining Unknown Worlds is Perfect World Entertainment, which is known for creating MMOs like Age of Conan and Secret World.

“We are thrilled to share the stage with Unknown Worlds at this year’s Ümloud!,” said Andrew Brown, General Manager for Perfect World Entertainment. “The gaming community has proven time and time again that it is both passionate and generous – and so we are proud to support Child’s Play in its efforts to improve the quality of life for a younger generation of gamers.”

Child's Play, a charity that is supported by gamers to help raise money for children's hospitals, feels that the sponsors for this event help make it what it is.

“The amazing teams at Unknown Worlds and Perfect World Entertainment couldn’t fit the spirit of Ümloud! any better,” said Joe Markert, Chief Operating Officer of Ümloud!. Umloud is a great cause that everyone, not just gamers, can get behind.
